From a young age, Litia Katy aspired to be a teacher.

Shortly after enrolling at the Teachers College, she lost her father in a tragic accident.

However, soon after her father’s untimely passing, the family was visited by a BSP Life’s Sales Advisor, informing them that her dad had in a life insurance cover.

Through Litia’s father’s life insurance policy payout, her late mother built a family home in Colo-I-Suva and also completed paying for Litia’s teacher training.

Today, Litia teaches at a primary school in Suva, where she also coaches the school’s junior hockey team. She lives with her son John and sister Sokula at their home in Colo-I-Suva.
